You’ll be damned if you do and damned if you don’t”-Eleanor Roosevelt.

After recently losing my beloved husband and mother within 2 months of each other, these 2 quotes have become my mantras. Thank you, bella Grace, for sharing the insightful wisdom of a great lady.

To Bella Grace, This is the first time I have visited your page, but I believe it will not be the last.
And to Denise, thank you for introducing me to a new and now favorite quote from Eleanor Roosevelt.
Reading this page, including the new found quote is inspiring and gives me new hope in these troubled times.
Sincerely, Mary Kay Robinson Bearden

I regret not getting to know her better. I will share the Eleanor Roosevelt quotes with people to encourage them and myself. Especially my daughters!

Has always been my favorite quote of Eleanor Roosevelt, as an African American woman I appreciate her interest in the rights of all people especially black people. She was responsible for Marian Anderson singing at the white house and on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, when the DAR Daughters of the American Revolution wouldn’t allow Marian Anderson to sing at the constitution hall. Eleanor Roosevelt also ended her honorary membership in DAR in protest. She had a heart for people and she remains one of the most influential first ladies of all times.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. You’ve blessed me while struggling and relearning “I am strong.” May the Lord richly bless you, and may His countenance shine upon you
