As soon as I get home, I grind the beans and make my coffee the with slow “pour-over” method, watching the coffee “bloom” while deeply inhaling the scent of the coffee. I have some large pottery coffee mugs, which I save for days when I have the time to enjoy the entire process; I pour a large mug, lace it with a bit of cream, find a great movie on TV and relish my coffee, the movie and the gift of the cold day.
