Sitting and talking to friends on the porch. Offering icy cold lemonade, lemon bars. Candles lit at the end of the day and watching children play in the yard. The curtains blowing gently from the breeze. The smell of clothes drying outside in the sun. Holding hands and walking and talking and loving each other. The laughter of children playing hide and seek.
Daylight lasting longer so we can be outside and enjoy life and living.

My favorite thing about summer is spending most of the day on the porch watching the birds, reading or tending the garden during the day and campfires at night with my family.
